A Daily devotional reading plan is essential to nourish our own unique relationship with Jesus. As Paul says “For God, who said, "Let there be light in the darkness," has made this light shine in our hearts so we could know the glory of God that is seen in the face of Jesus Christ.” - 2 Corinthians 4:6. This experience of having God’s light shine in our hearts comes in our times spent at the Lord’s feet reading the Bible. It is a trusted guide to nurture our spiritual life as we draw closer to God with each passing day.

It is a one-year plan that breaks the Bible into several different Genres: Epistles, The Law, History, Psalms, Poetry, Prophecy, and Gospels. Each day of the week you read a different Genre. The method reading gives a lot of variety each week but it might not be for everyone.
